Process: Creating a Task manually and Creating Task within client Account

CREATING A TASK IN ZOHO CRM
This article is meant for Rondesse Employees, Partners, and Associates.

In this article, you will be provided with a guide outlining the steps to create a Task for the Upwork lead/prospect details after the process of data collection for prospective customers.

Here are the steps to create a New Task for the Upwork prospect and Rondesse Client account:

1. Sign in to Home Page - Zoho CRM: https://www.zoho.com/crm/

2. Under the CRM dashboard, click the TASK tab.

3. Click "Create Task".

4. Fill out the Task Information:


  • Task Owner: [Select Task Owner]

  • Subject: [Enter Appropriate Task Subject]

  • Case Manager: [Select from the drop down]

  • Due Date: [If necessary]

  • Choose Contact/Lead: [Create or Search a record]

  • Customer: [If Applicable or leave blank]

  • Status: [Tag as In Progress]

  • Case Tag: [Select Rondesse Case]

  • Repeat: [Set if applicable]

  • Description: [Enter as much information as possible]

  • Reminder: [Set if applicable]

5. Click Save


Creating Task within a client's CRM Account:
1. In your clients account, you will see tabs in the middle of the page. Click on the Cases tab.

2. In the Cases tab, you will see all the cases currently being handled for the client. Click the title where you want to add a task.

3. In the Cases page, you will see another list of tabs. Choose Open Tasks.

4. In this page, if tasks are already created for this case, you will see a list of them with due dates to ensure timely action on what needs to be accomplished for the clients case. 
To create a new Task, click on the plus (+) sign button on the right side of the screen.

5. A small window will come up for you to complete. 

  • Task Owner: [Select Task Owner]

  • Subject: [Enter Appropriate Task Subject]

  • Case Manager: [Select from the drop down]

  • Due Date: [If necessary]

  • Choose Contact/Lead: [Create or Search a record]

  • Customer: [If Applicable or leave blank]

  • Status: [Tag as In Progress]

  • Case Tag: [Select Rondesse Case]

  • Repeat: [Set if applicable]

  • Description: [Enter as much information as possible]

  • Reminder: [Set if applicable]

6. Click Save




Fill-out the Case Intake Form once the soft intake has been concluded to determine the Lawer and CRO to be assigned to the Task.
