Norton Lifelock: Application installation process

In this article you will find the steps on how you can guide a client in installing Norton 360 Anti Virus to other devices.

Step 1:
Ask the client to log in to their Norton Lifelock dashboard : https://my.norton.com/home/index
- Once logged in, ask the client to hover their mouse on their name on the top right corner of the Norton Dashboard home page.
- Choose "Manage My Subscriptions" in the drop down list.

- This will take them to their My Account page. 
- On that page, ask the client to note the Product KEY as it may be required for installation on another device.


Step 2: 
There are 2 types of installation process. For Mobile and for PC.

For mobile devices, ask the client to open their Application Marketplace (Appstore for apple and Play Store for Android)
 

- Ask them to search for "Norton 360". Description of the icon is a "Black check with yellow background".

- For apple devices or some Android devices, clients may see an instruction that asks them to "double click to Install". Tell your client that its the devices physical button and not anywhere in the screen.

- Let the installation process finish.
- Once completed, you will be asked to "Sign in". Ask the client to type in their credentials.
- The client will now be brought to the Anti virus dashboard screen


For PC (Windows and MAC)

WINDOWS
Step 1: Go to my.Norton.com and sign in with your Norton account email address and password.
Step 2: In the My Norton portal, click Download. Next, on the Get Started page, click Agree and Download.
Step 3: If you are installing on Windows 11/10 in S mode, click Get it from Microsoft and follow the prompts to install from the Microsoft store.
Step 4: Once the download completes run the installer from your browser, press Ctrl + J key, to open the Downloads window in your browser, and double-click the file that you downloaded. 
Step 5: If the User Account Control window appears, click Continue and follow the on-screen instructions.

MAC
Step 1: Go to my.Norton.com and sign in with your Norton account email address and password.
Step 2: In the My Norton portal, click Download. Next, on the Get Started page, click Agree and Download.
Step 3: To install Norton product version 8.x or later, you need to have Mac OS X 10.10.x or later.
Step 4: Before you install, we recommend that you click Norton License Agreement and read your product license agreement.
